Ingredients
  • 150 gram Butter
  • 100 gram Granulated sugar
  • 2 unit Egg yolks
  • 250 gram All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Ground cardamom
  • 50 gram Sliced almonds
  • 50 gram Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg yolks one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and ground cardamom.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Shape the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  7. Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Press a few sliced almonds onto the top of each dough ball.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.
  11. Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
  12. Once the cookies are completely cool, dust with powdered sugar.
