Ingredients
  • 200 gram Butter
  • 200 gram Brown sugar
  • 250 gram All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 unit Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 100 gram Chopped nuts
  • 1 cup Caramel sauce
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until crumbly.
  4. Press half of the mixture into the prepared baking pan to form the crust.
  5. In a small bowl, beat the eggs and vanilla extract. Pour the egg mixture over the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the chopped nuts evenly over the egg mixture.
  7. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the nuts.
  8. Crumble the remaining flour mixture over the top.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool in the pan for 30 minutes before cutting into bars.
