Ingredients
  • 1 cup Cake flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 Eggs
  • 3/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 Ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup Caramel sauce
  • 1 cup Whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 Banana slices
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cake flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in the vanilla extract and mashed bananas.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared jelly roll pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the cake is golden brown and springs back when lightly touched.
  7. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 5 minutes.
  8. Invert the cake onto a clean kitchen towel dusted with powdered sugar.
  9. Gently peel off the parchment paper.
  10. Starting from the short end, roll up the cake tightly with the towel.
  11. Let the cake cool completely while rolled up.
  12. Unroll the cake and spread caramel sauce evenly over the surface.
  13. Spread whipped cream on top of the caramel sauce.
  14. Roll the cake back up tightly without the towel.
  15. Place the cake roll on a serving platter and dust with powdered sugar.
  16. Garnish with banana slices.
  17. Slice and serve.
