Ingredients
  • 2 cup Pie Crust
  • 2 pound Apples
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 3 tablespoon Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Caramel Sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 large Egg
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out one pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the sliced apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
  4. Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce over the apple mixture.
  6. Dot the top of the apples with butter.
  7. Roll out the second pie crust and place it on top of the apple filling.
  8. Trim and crimp the edges of the pie crust.
  9. Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  10. Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush it over the top crust.
  11. Bake the pie for 45-50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  12. Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool for at least 1 hour before serving.
