Ingredients
  • 115 gram Butter
  • 100 gram Granulated sugar
  • 100 gram Brown sugar
  • 1 unit Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup Buttermilk
  • 250 gram All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 200 gram Chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the buttermilk and mix well.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
