Ingredients
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Chopped walnuts
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin tin or line with paper liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chocolate chips together, stirring until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and vanilla extract together. Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture and mix well.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
  6. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Remove from the oven and allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
