Ingredients
  • 200 gram Dark chocolate
  • 150 gram Unsalted butter
  • 200 gram Granulated sugar
  • 3 unit Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 100 gram All-purpose flour
  • 30 gram Cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts (optional)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate and unsalted butter together, stirring until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually pour the melted chocolate mixture into the sugar mixture, stirring until well combined.
  5. Sift in the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir until just combined.
  6. If using walnuts, fold them into the batter.
  7. Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Allow the cupcakes to cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
