Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.75 cup Unsalted butter
  • 2 large Egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cup Fresh raspberries
  • as needed for dusting Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, and salt.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Continue cooking, stirring frequently, until the butter turns golden brown and has a nutty aroma, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually pour the brown butter into the egg yolk mixture, whisking constantly, until well combined.
  6. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  7. Press the dough into the bottom and up the sides of a tart pan.
  8. Arrange the raspberries on top of the dough.
  9. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
  11. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
