Ingredients
  • 6 slice Bread
  • 2 cup Milk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Raisins
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish.
  3. Tear the bread into small pieces and place them in the greased baking dish.
  4. In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  6. Slowly pour the hot milk into the egg mixture, whisking constantly.
  7. Pour the mixture over the bread, pressing down to make sure all the bread is soaked.
  8. Sprinkle the raisins on top.
  9. Dot the top with butter.
  10. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the pudding is set and the top is golden brown.
  11. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  12. Serve warm or at room temperature.
