Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup Cornmeal
  • 2 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoon Active Dry Yeast
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Unsalted Butter
  • 1 medium, seeded and finely chopped Jalapeno Pepper
  • 1 cup Canned Corn
  • 1 cup, shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients (except jalapeno pepper, corn, and cheese) into the bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer.
  2. Select the dough or manual cycle on the bread machine and start the cycle.
  3. When the dough cycle is complete, remove the dough from the machine and place it on a floured surface.
  4. Flatten the dough and spread the jalapeno pepper, corn, and cheese evenly over the surface.
  5. Roll the dough into a log shape and place it in a greased bread pan.
  6. Cover the bread pan with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rest for 1 hour.
  7. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  8. Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
