  2. Cook the bow tie pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened.
  4. Stir in the tomato sauce, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the cooked pasta, followed by half of the meat sauce, and half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Repeat the layers.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let the pasta bake rest for 5 minutes before serving.
