Ingredients
  • 1 cup Raisins
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 2 cup Oats
Instructions
  1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil and add the raisins. Let them boil for 5 minutes, then drain.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
  4. Stir in the boiled raisins and oats.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a greased baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
