Ingredients
  • 250 gram Pie crust
  • 3 cup Blackberries
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 beaten Egg
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and line a pie dish with it.
  3. In a bowl, mix the blackberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the blackberry mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Cover the pie with the remaining pie crust or create a lattice pattern.
  6. Brush the top crust with beaten egg.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Allow the pie to cool for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  9. Serve the blackberry pie with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, if desired.
