Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just blended. Stir in the walnuts and chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Once cooled, slice and serve.
