Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup Sour cream
  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Milk
  • Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and sour cream.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Flatten each cookie slightly with the bottom of a glass.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk to make the glaze. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cookies and top with sprinkles, if desired.
  8. Allow the glaze to set before serving.
