  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.
  3. Add the melted unsalted butter and sugar to the bananas and mix well.
  4. Beat the eggs in a separate bowl, then add them to the banana mixture.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Stir in the vanilla extract and chopped walnuts.
