Ingredients
  • 2 medium-sized Onions
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 cup Beer
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • as needed for frying Vegetable oil
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Slice the onions into rings and separate them.
  3. In a bowl, mix the flour, cornstarch, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  4. Gradually whisk in the beer and egg until the batter is smooth.
  5. Dip each onion ring into the batter, then coat it with breadcrumbs.
  6. Place the coated onion rings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Allow the onion rings to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
