Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup Ripe bananas
  • 1.75 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 stick Unsalted butter
  • 2 unit Eggs
  • 0.25 cup Plain yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.75 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Walnuts (optional)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.
  3. Add the melted butter, eggs, yogurt, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. If desired, fold in the walnuts.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Remove from the oven and let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  10. Transfer the bread to a wire rack and let it cool completely before slicing and serving.
