  5. Divide the dough into two equal portions, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4-inch (6 cm) thickness.
  8. Use cookie cutters to cut out desired shapes and transfer them to the prepared baking sheet.

  11. In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and milk to make the icing.
