Ingredients
  • 1 cup Grits
  • 4 cup Milk
  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 large Eggs
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large saucepan, bring the milk and butter to a boil over medium heat. Slowly whisk in the grits and reduce the heat to low. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until thickened.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper until melted and well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Gradually stir the eggs into the grits mixture until well incorporated.
  5. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
