Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Apricots
  • 1/4 cup Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with the milk. Fold in the chopped apricots.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
