Ingredients
  • 3 banana Ripe bananas
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Add the applesauce, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture and stir until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer the bread to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Slice and serve.
