  2. Heat ghee in a pan and add the soaked rice. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add milk and bring it to a boil. Simmer on low heat until the rice is cooked and the kheer thickens.
  4. Meanwhile, peel and grate the apples.
  5. Once the kheer thickens, add grated apples, sugar, cardamom powder, almonds, and raisins. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and let it rest for 1 hour.
  7. Serve chilled and garnish with almonds and raisins.
