  • 300 gram Apples
  • 200 gram All-purpose flour
  • 150 gram Granulated sugar
  • 100 gram Unsalted butter
  • 2 unit Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. Peel and core the apples, then cut them into thin slices.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, until well combined.
  7. Fold in the apple slices.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  11. Transfer the cake to a wire rack and let it cool completely.
  12. Serve the apple kandycake as is or with a dusting of powdered sugar.
