Ingredients
  • 2 medium Apples
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • for frying Vegetable oil
  • for dusting Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Peel and core the apples, then cut them into thin slices.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until well combined.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or skillet over medium heat.
  6. Dip apple slices into the batter, allowing any excess to drip off, and carefully place them into the hot oil.
  7. Fry the fritters for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  8. Remove the fritters from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  9. Let the fritters rest for a few minutes before dusting them with powdered sugar.
