  • 500 grams Apples
  • 200 grams All-purpose flour
  • 150 grams Granulated sugar
  • 150 grams Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 units Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 120 milliliters Milk
  • 100 grams Brown sugar
  • 100 grams Rolled oats
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Peel, core, and slice the apples.
  3. In a bowl, mix the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and milk.
  5. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  6. Grease a baking dish and spread half of the cake batter on the bottom.
  7. Arrange the sliced apples on top of the batter.
  8. Sprinkle the brown sugar and rolled oats over the apples.
  9. Spread the remaining cake batter over the apples.
  10. Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  11. Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before serving.
