  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 0.75 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cup Rolled oats
  • 1 cup Apple, peeled and diced
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 0.5 cup Walnuts, chopped
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, cream together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in the rolled oats, diced apple, cinnamon, nutmeg, and chopped walnuts.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
