Ingredients
  • 200 gram Mushrooms
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 cup Low-fat milk
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 cup Vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and minced garlic. Saute until onions are translucent.
  2. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and become tender.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together low-fat milk and cornstarch until well combined.
  4. Pour the milk mixture into the pan with mushrooms and stir well.
  5. Add vegetable broth, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Stir and let the sauce simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Serve the low-fat mushroom sauce over pasta, rice, or grilled vegetables.
