Ingredients
  • 3 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup Buttermilk
  • 2 teaspoon Active dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoon Warm water
Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and salt.
  3. Cut the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the yeast mixture and buttermilk until a soft dough forms.
  5. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Roll out the dough to 1/2-inch thickness and cut out biscuits using a round cutter.
  7. Place the biscuits on a greased baking sheet and let them rest for 10 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  9. Bake the biscuits for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
