Ingredients
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 3 cup Quick-cooking oats
  • 1 cup Raisins
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture until well mixed.
  3. Stir in the quick-cooking oats and raisins.
  4. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets. Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon.
  5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
