Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies
The first chocolate chip cookie was invented by Ruth Graves Wakefield in 1938. She added chopped up pieces of a Nestle semi-sweet chocolate bar into her cookie dough, expecting it to melt and create chocolate cookies. Instead, the chocolate chips held their shape and the chocolate chip cookie was born!
