Samosas are believed to have originated in the Middle East and were introduced to India during the Delhi Sultanate rule in the 13th century.

Boil the potatoes until tender, then peel and mash them.

Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions, green chili, and ginger until golden brown.

Add peas, turmeric powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook for 2 minutes.

Add mashed potatoes, coriander leaves, and lemon juice. Mix well and let it cool.

In a separate bowl, mix all-purpose flour, oil, and water to make a smooth dough.

Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a thin circle.

Cut each circle in half and fold it into a cone shape.

Fill the cone with the potato mixture and seal the edges.

Deep fry the samosas until golden brown.

Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
