Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish.

Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool.

In a blender, puree the cantaloupe until smooth. Set aside.

In a saucepan, whisk together sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Gradually whisk in milk and heavy cream.

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil.

Remove from heat and stir in the cantaloupe puree and vanilla extract.

Pour the filling into the cooled crust and smooth the top.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
