Boil the potatoes until tender. Peel and mash them.

Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for 5 minutes.

In a large bowl, combine mashed potatoes, flour, yeast mixture, and salt. Knead until the dough is smooth.

Cover the dough and let it rise for 30 minutes.

Divide the dough into small portions and shape them into balls.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Drop the dough balls into the boiling water and cook for about 10 minutes or until they float to the surface.

Remove the cooked pyzy drozdzowe from the water and drain.

Serve hot, drizzled with melted butter and sprinkled with powdered sugar.
